Overview:

This three-day M6424 instructor-led course provides Active Directory Technology Specialists with an introduction to all the Active Directory server roles within Windows Server 2008. The course is intended for entry level IT professionals who want to familiarise themselves with all the Active Directory server roles and their basic functionality.  If you are a more experienced Windows IT Professional who only requires skills within Active Directory Domain Services (what was formerly called Active Directory in Windows Server 2000 and 2003), then we would recommend you attend course M6425 “Configuring and Troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Domain Services”.

At Course Completion:

After completing this course, students will understand how Active Directory server roles are used and learn about the purpose and components of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). Students will learn how to configure organizational units and user, computer and group accounts. Lastly, students will learn how to manage access to shared resources
