Computrain together with 7Safe and The University of Bedfordshire have partnered together to offer a Masters in Computer Security & Forensics.

To be awarded this MSc, delegates are required to attend seven training courses, pass the accompanying CSTA, CSTP,CWSA, CFIP, CMI, CSIS and CIIP examinations and successfully complete written assignments. The assignments reflect the content of the courses and are marked by the University.
Delegates are also required to complete a written Independent Study Module and an MSc project (thesis).

To earn the CSTA,CSTP, CWSA, CFIP, CMI, CSIS or CIIP certificate, delegates are required to attend the relevant training course and successfully complete an examination.
Those wishing to extend their knowledge further can pursue the CSTA+, CSTP+, CWSA+, CFIP+, CMI+, CSIS+ or CIIP+ qualification. The latter is awarded upon completion of a university-written assignment, which is based on the content of the relevant course.
The pass mark for the CSTA, CSTP, CWSA, CFIP, CMI, CSIS and CIIP examinations is 50%. Exam marks between 65% and 79% attract a merit grade, with marks 80%+ achieving distinction. The pass mark for the CSTA+, CSTP+, CWSA+, CFIP+, CMI+, CSIS+ and CIIP+ qualifications is 40%. Exam marks between 50% and 69% attract a commendation, with marks 70%+ achieving distinction.
Students have up to six years in which to complete this MSc.
